Support
One person builds NightClimb, and that person reads every email. If something is broken, unclear or unfair, say so.
Deleting your account
You do not need to ask anyone. It is in the app and it happens straight away.
- Open NightClimb and go to Profile.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is gone immediately — there is no grace period and it cannot be undone.
This removes your profile, bio, entire sleep history, rank, streaks, every follow in both directions and your in-app notifications. Two narrow exceptions — anonymised feedback and moderation records — are explained in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; do that separately in the App Store.
If you only want a fresh start, Profile → Start over clears your rank, streaks and sleep history but keeps your account.
Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Through Apple, not through us — we have no ability to cancel it for you. On iOS open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → NightClimb → Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, otherwise it renews. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy.
Someone is harassing me. What do I do?
Open their profile and use the menu in the top corner. Block works immediately and both ways: you disappear from each other everywhere in the app, any following is removed in both directions, and neither of you can follow again. They are never told they have been blocked.
Report sends the reason to us. The person reported is never told who reported them. If it is urgent, email as well.
The alarm did not go off.
Check that notifications are enabled for NightClimb in iOS Settings, that Focus or Do Not Disturb is not silencing it, and that your phone is not on silent with volume at zero.
Even with all of that right: do not use NightClimb as your only alarm for something that matters. Phones die and updates break things.
Can I hide my stats but stay on the leaderboard?
Yes. Profile → Privacy → Private account. Only friends — people you follow who follow you back — can then see your nights logged, average and best score, and your follower lists.
You still appear on leaderboards with your display name, companion, rank and streak. Private hides the detail rather than removing you from the game.
Does NightClimb read my Apple Health data?
No. NightClimb has no HealthKit or Health Connect permission at all, so it could not read your health data even if it tried. Nothing in the app asks for it.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Email the address above and it will be sent as JSON within 30 days. There is not yet a button in the app for this. Your other GDPR rights are listed in the Privacy Policy.
Is my sleep history visible to other players?
Not your history. Other signed-in players can see your most recent night's score, your average, your best, how many nights you have logged, and — while you are asleep — when the current session started.
Your night-by-night history, your bedtime targets, your sleep durations, your introduction answers and your email address are readable only by you. The full list is in the privacy policy.
Is there an Android version?
iOS comes first. Android is planned, but there is no date worth quoting yet.
